We recently completed a complex roll on / roll off job for Ergon. The project required delivery by barge (PMG150) of an oversized switchroom to Palm Island, and involved extensive Naval Architect modelling of the cargo during the roll on at our marine facility, and roll off at Palm Island, to ensure we had adequate underbelly clearances for the transport equipment on the tides we were going to experience on the day. We had to perform some modifications to the barge to allow the cargo to clear through the door A-frames.
The job went exactly as planned and the cargo arrived safe, resulting in a very satisfied client.
