Scope of work
Complete salvage of timber trawler that sank in 45m of open water
- Salvage required divers to:
- Locate casualty
- Patch holes / plug voids / seal hatches
- Dredge sand around casualty to enable lifting slings to be fitted under Casualty lifted using barge mounted A Frame until gunnels out of water Water pumped out
- Casualty secured and made safe for towing
- Casualty towed to shore and lifted out of water
