Something a bit different coming up for a future PMG project. We are involved as both a project sponsor, and an installation contractor for this interesting project.
We will be providing tugs / barges / cranes / divers and Grouted Screw Moorings needed to install a 12m x 9m x 6m tall stainless steel "greenhouse" structure in 12m of water on the Great Barrier Reef. Our marine facility in Townsville will be used for the artwork assembly, and loading onto barges for installation. In addition we will be driving a 900mm diameter pile just offshore from Townsville's Strand, to which illuminating artwork will be installed. Additional art pieces are planned for Magnetic Island and Palm Island.
