PMG have been kept busy lately on preliminaries for the Townsville Channel Upgrade Project. We have removed 11 channel markers to make way for the dredging works, due to start later in 2021. These works were carried out from PMG181, fitted with a 150t crawler crane and vibrohammer, and serviced by our tug Black Panther.
We have also been involved with marine support services for a geotechnical drilling campaign in association with Ports and Coastal Environmental. PMG provided a small jack up barge, tug services (PMG Swordfish) and crew transfers (PMG Catfish) for the project.
