PMG have successfully completed installation of AIMS' (Australian Institute of Marine Science) new tower at Myrmidon Reef - 70NM offshore Townsville.
Workscope involved:
- Assemble tower from pre-fabricated components in PMG’s Townsville marine facility yard
- Load erected tower onto barge (PMG182) and seafasten
- Tow barge to Myrmidon Reef (70NM offshore Townsville)
- Anchor barge in location and install tower utilising divers
