Scope of work
- Load 2 – 3 buoys and all necessary mooring equipment onto long range vessel in Townsville and travel to extremely remote locations for routine changeout of Australia’s Tsunami warning system buoys.
- PMG have been involved for many years with the project, including the initial installation of the buoys, and annual changeout.
- Locations this service has been performed are Tasman Sea, Indian Ocean and Coral Sea.
- PMG’s specialist long range expedition vessel “PMG Pride” has completed these works using the vessel’s 10T rated A-Frame.
